Welcome to the 2016 workshop on global mental health!

The Office for Research on Disparities and Global Mental Health in the Office of the Director of the U.S. National Institute of Mental Health and Grand Challenges Canada  will co-convene a workshop entitled, Solving the Grand Challenges in Global Mental Health: Maintaining Momentum on the Road to Scale Up on April 15, 2016, at the George Washington University in Washington, DC.

This year’s NIMH-GCC workshop will take place in coordination with The World Bank and World Health Organization meeting, Out of the Shadows: Making Mental Health a Global Development Priority, on April 13-14, 2016.

Together, the two meetings will bring together more than 200 global mental health innovators, investigators, policymakers, and other key stakeholders to discuss exciting new research findings and strategies for maintaining a worldwide spotlight on the six priority areas identified in the Grand Challenges in Global Mental Health initiative.
